R. Dale Robertson, D.O.

 

Dr. Dale Robertson is a native of Princeton, West Virginia. He graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV with a BS in Cytotechnology. He obtained his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, and he graduated with highest honors. He completed his general surgery internship and urological surgery residency training at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, West Virginia in 2016.

He is a member of the Psi Sigma Alpha honor society, the American Urologic Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, and the Endourological Society. Dr. Robertson also has a passion for education. He is a proud clinical educator for both the Alabama College and the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also serves as core site director ACOM – Gadsden. His training includes advanced minimally-invasive surgical techniques including the use of the da Vinci robotic system (See Robotic Surgery) in the treatment of BPH as well as prostate, kidney, and bladder cancer. His training also includes the treatment of stone disease, voiding dysfunction, and the use of holmium and green light lasers in general urology.

Dr. Robertson and his wife Kimberly are proud parents to their two daughters Harper and Amelia. Dr. Robertson is an avid outdoorsman who loves to hunt and fish and enjoys spending his free time in the Alabama Outdoors.
