Dr. Stephens, a native of Trenton, Georgia, served in the US Marine Corps and the Air Force Reserve prior to graduating magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with honors. Dr. Stephens completed his internship and general surgery residency at Plaza Medical Center in Ft. Worth, Texas, and finished his urological training at Michigan State University.
Dr. Stephens is currently serving as the Chief of Urology at Riverview Regional Medical Center. His special medical/surgical interests include robotic assisted, minimally invasive surgery, the management of stone disease, and general urology. He is a member of the American Urologic Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
Dr. Stephens and his wife, Kendra, have two daughters. He is an avid horseman and enjoys fishing, hunting, biking, running, and spending quality time with his family.
